Warehouse Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of all associates is to deliver an exceptional experience to every customer, every time, while upholding the company’s Core Values. As a Lumberyard/Warehouse Associate, will be responsible for assisting customers with their lumber and building material needs, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the yard is organized and efficient. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Customer Assistance: Assist customers in selecting lumber and building materials, answering questions, and providing product recommendations.

· Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks with lumber and building materials using appropriate equipment.

· Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock materials, and conduct regular inventory checks.

· Organization: Keep the lumber yard clean, organized, and free of hazards. Ensure materials are stored properly.

· Safety: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

· Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, saws, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working condition.

· Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other associates and departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

· Problem Solving: Address and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

· Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other yard activities.

· Other duties as assigned/necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
