40hrs/week Guaranteed Overtime with Monthly Safety Bonus Structure
Eldredge, Inc. is a transportation and waste management company based in West Chester, PA supporting the mid-Atlantic but specializing in industrial and commercial clients nationwide. Some of our services include, but are not limited to: waste management, transportation, disposal, remediation and treatment processes, environmental consulting, field services, reporting, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Daily work will involves operating CDL Vac Trucks, Hi-Vac, Box Vans, Roll-offs to jobsites.
- Assisting with confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping and shoveling, high pressure washing, sump & trap, and various other remedial activities.
- Perform work in coordination with Supervisor or Foreman involving the remediation of cleanup regarding hazardous waste and materials.
- Participate in any technical and safety training provided by Eldredge and abide by the guidelines presented. Confined-space entry and 40-hour OSHA classes as provided.
- Interact with customers and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner.
- Completes all Daily Required Paperwork.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
- Must be able to use good judgment & decision making skills
- Be able to maintain a positive attitude, ability to problem-solve, and report for duty ready to go and on time for each shift.
The successful candidate should have a willingness to grow in the department. Eldredge will provide training at no costs for candidates with CDL B licenses that would like to obtain a CDL A license.
Qualifications
- Must have 2-3 years experience with CDL A Tractor/Trailers and CDL B Truck
- Highly preferred for candidates to have experience with Vac Trucks and Hi-Vacs.
- Must be able to understand and follow written and oral instructions and assignments
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass a pre-employment and annual physical examination.
- Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
- Must be able to pass a Background/ Drug/Physical test( background goes back 7yrs)
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- Must have a CDL Driver's License with a class B or class A.
- Must be able to obtain TWIC Card
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
