Key Responsibilities:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical and professional roles across our growing Engineering, Technical and Corporate departments.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand engineering and production schedules, program timelines, and engineering milestones to align recruiting urgency with business deliverables.
- Participate in workforce planning discussions with HR and leadership to anticipate future technical hiring needs.
- Provide market intelligence on talent availability, compensation trends, and competitive hiring practices.
- Lead intake meetings to define role scope, required competencies, interview plans, and selection criteria.
- Develop talent pipelines for hard-to-fill, proactive searches, and hands-on engineering roles where local market supply may be limited.
- Create and post job descriptions, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and guide candidates through the interview process.
- Coordinate assessments, lead interviews and offer process, debrief with hiring managers and partner with Recruiting Coordinator for support.
- Adapt to evolving hiring priorities while maintaining a strong customer-service mindset for both candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Track metrics such as time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and labor costs to optimize hiring efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with EEO, OFCCP, and internal recruiting policies.
- Contribute to employer branding strategies and local outreach campaigns to enhance hiring outcomes.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
- 4–7 years of recruitment experience, preferably in an EV, automotive, or heavy equipment environment.
- Experience recruiting for onsite or plant-based roles, with strong sourcing skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions (e.g., 20 openings at a time).
- Experience partnering directly with engineering departments (electrical, mechanical, software, etc.).
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective sourcing strategies and build diverse talent pipelines.
- Ability to assess technical competencies in partnership with subject matter experts
- Strong knowledge of recruitment technologies and a passion for improving and innovating processes to achieve creative and effective TA goals.
- Understanding of basic immigration laws and work authorization/visa requirements
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Paycor.
- Strong interviewing, assessment, and candidate relationship management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience hiring within EV, mobility, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Experience supporting high-volume technical hiring ramps
- Familiarity with relocation recruiting for specialized technical talent
