Job Summary:
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of buildings and facilities. This includes routine cleaning tasks, minor maintenance, and ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in offices, hallways, restrooms, and other areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated areas.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, windowsills, and furniture.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
- Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors.
- Report major repairs or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition.
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly.
Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent preferred.
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift up to 40 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Indoor and outdoor settings.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- May require evening or weekend shifts depending on facility needs.
