- Direct daily operations across production, maintenance, weld, paint, and final assembly.
- Develop and implement standard work practices, training systems, and shift consistency.
- Lead efforts to reduce hours per unit and overall manufacturing costs.
- Design and execute scalable organizational structures including managers, supervisors, and operators.
- Foster a safety-first culture with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales to align operations with business objectives.
- Ensure vehicles meet all quality specifications and customer expectations.
- Represent manufacturing during audits, walkthroughs, and customer inspections.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams on process control and product integrity.
- Lead initiatives to improve SQDCM metrics and implement Lean manufacturing practices.
- Drive efficiency by partnering with Industrial Engineering and Operational Excellence teams.
- Eliminate bottlenecks and optimize production flow through data-driven improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field
- 10 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, ideally in vehicle, heavy-duty, or capital equipment industries
- Demonstrated success in building production teams, leading maintenance programs, and scaling operations
- Strong track record of cost-reduction and continuous improvement success.
- Expertise in performance metrics and customer-facing manufacturing processes.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Formal training in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems in make-to-order environments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
