Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse Night Supervisor role located in Grand Island, NY. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing patient-centered care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and documenting medical records. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans, educating patients and families about health management, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Registered Nursing License and an active, unrestricted state license in New York. Canadian Nurses with NY license are welcomed to apply.
- Proficiency in administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and executing care plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance standards
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills to provide high-quality patient care
- Experience in providing care in a long-term care or hospital setting is an advantage
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
