Position Summary
We are seeking a part-time Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join our growing primary care team. This position is ideal for a clinician who values continuity of care and enjoys working in a rural outpatient setting with a focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
You’ll see a manageable volume of patients in a well-supported clinical environment with experienced nursing and administrative staff. No hospital call, weekends, or after-hours duties.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute visits.

Collaborate with nursing, behavioral health, and care coordination teams to ensure integrated patient care.

Utilize eClinicalWorks (ECW) EHR for documentation and care management workflows.

Participate in quality improvement and value-based care initiatives.

Provide supervision and support for nurse practitioners as needed (if applicable).
Qualifications

MD or DO with training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

Active Tennessee medical license (or eligibility for licensure).

Current DEA registration.

Strong communication, teamwork, and patient relationship skills.

Experience with Rural Health Clinic operations or value-based care preferred but not required.
Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: 1 day per week (flexible day; outpatient only).

Hours: Typical clinic day (8 AM – 5 PM).

Compensation: Competitive hourly or per diem rate, commensurate with experience.
