Quality and Compliance Specialist – Hybrid Schedule

Seeking a full-time (30 hours/week) Quality and Compliance Specialist to work within the Quality Department. Responsibilities include leading and coordinating quality improvement and compliance initiatives across the agency. Implements and maintains quality systems that support data-driven decision-making, ensure compliance with the Executive Office of Aging and Independence (AGE) and Aging Service Access Point (ASAP) contract standards, and enhance consumer satisfaction. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to embed a culture of continuous improvement and regulatory excellence.

Qualifications and Abilities: Bachelor’s degree in public administration, social work, business, or nonprofit management preferred. Compliance and quality certifications or relevant experience in lieu of degree acceptable. 1-2 years experience in quality and compliance preferred. Certifications in CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), LSS Yellow Belt (Lean Six Sigma), ISO 9001 certification – quality management systems, compliance and risk management, non profit specialist a plus. Skills in data analytics and visualization are a plus Familiarity with State Home Care Program and the Massachusetts aging network preferred. Familiarity with Quality Improvement systems such as Institute for Healthcare Improvement and related tools such as Plan-Do-Study-Act a plus. Use of a reliable vehicle including active vehicle insurance with a current license to drive required. Must be detail oriented, self-starter with statistical savvy. Ability to communicate complex information in simple terms. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to take initiative and work independently when needed. Excellent computer/technology proficiency skills, including advanced skills with Microsoft Office products (Excel (including formulas, pivot tables), Word (including mail merges), Forms, CoPilot, Teams, Power BI, and Outlook), Survey Monkey or similar, and OMR survey tools. Must have moderate physical mobility with ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 lbs. Ability to climb stairs. Ability to drive and attend meetings in the surrounding community.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Non-negotiable Salary: $38,610 to $39,421.20 annually
  • Staged Hiring Bonus: $1,000, awarded in 2 parts, half at 120 days, and half at 1 year of active employment.
