What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meals on Wheels Delivery/Driver South County position at Elder Services of Berkshire County?
Essential Functions:
1. Report to the designated meal site at pre-assigned time, unless otherwise instructed.
2. Review daily route sheets and pack hot meals, bag suppers, frozen meals, and bags per the route sheet counts. Pack substitutions as required by notes on route sheets or from instructions provided by the Nutrition office through the packing site coordinator.
3. Deliver meals to the consumers in a timely, courteous manner.
4. A well-being check will be performed on all consumers.
5. Morning hours vary slightly between 9:30am and 1:00pm Monday thru Friday.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Driver's License
Reliable Vehicle - Mileage reimbursement
Ability to lift at least 20 pounds
Candidate must be able to read, write and converse in English.
