Position Overview
AI / Analytics Platform Data Scientists are responsible for leveraging AI and data analytics to detect, prevent, and investigate fraud and other crimes. Their job responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to identify patterns.
- Use AI/analytics platforms to analyze complex and large volumes of data from various sources to identify potential fraudulent activities.
- Apply graph data science techniques to uncover hidden relationships and detect fraudulent networks.
- Utilize Neo4j and other graph databases to model complex relationships in fraud/criminal investigations.
- Develop fraud detection models leveraging network analytics, link prediction, and anomaly detection in transaction data.
- Collaborate with law enforcement, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into data science projects.
- Communicate complex quantitative analyses in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and data science.
- Ensure the proper implementation of data privacy regulations and best practices in data security within all AI and analytics projects.
- Participate in the development of strategies and policies related to crime prevention and detection.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.

- Graph data science and Neo4j for fraud detection and AML
- Data visualization and modeling
- Clearance Required: Current Secret required
- Must reside in the DC Metro area and be able to attend regularly scheduled in-person meetings
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or computer science) with 3-6 years of relevant work experience.
- Or, a Master’s Degree with 2 years of relevant work experience

- GenAI technologies
