Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Assisted Living
Our healthcare facility is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a current MN License as a Registered Nurse and preference will be given to those with experience in a geriatric long-term care setting. As an RN, you will work effectively with minimal supervision, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to lead a group of people in completing tasks. You will also have knowledge of standards of nursing practice and awareness of standards for compliance with state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality nursing care to our geriatric long-term care residents
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document resident progress and notify physicians of any changes in condition
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
- Complete marketing duties as assigned by the Administrator
- Maintain good relations with physicians, clinics, social workers, etc.
- Understand that you represent Eldercare of Bemidji
Requirements:
- Current MN License as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in a geriatric long-term care setting preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a group of people in completing tasks
- Knowledge of standards of nursing practice and awareness of standards for compliance with state and federal regulations
