The salary for this position is $128,304 to $160,384 a Year depending on experience, skill, and training.

As a member of the leadership team, this position is responsible for the direction of resident care in the skilled nursing setting. Manages nursing team members. Consults with staff and management team on nursing problems and interpretation of organizational policies to ensure resident needs are met. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Assists in formulating budget.
Our Directors of Nursing:
- Initiate the development and implementation of policies and procedures that govern the Nursing Services in collaboration with appropriate services. Participates in SNF planning, decision making and policy formulation at management meetings. Maintains regulatory requirements.
- Engage and support our Assisted Living and Memory Care programs and other departments within the CCRC structure.
- Plans, develops, implements and controls the annual budget for the nursing personnel.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the geriatric resident and short term stay / rehabilitation programs. Evaluates nursing staff ability to assess and care for residents.
- Coordinate and directs resident care and education by monitoring care plans and coaching nursing staff to improve the quality of care rendered.
- Oversees the assessment of all residents and the completion and updating the Minimum Data Sets and Care Plans.
- Participate in the interviewing, hiring, staffing, coaching and disciplinary actions of Skilled Nursing Facility staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you will need to succeed!
- Licensed RN in the state of California or ability to procure CA RN prior to start.
- Current BCLS certification and Certifications as per Title 22.
- College degree in related field or significant experience preferred.
- Three years minimum supervisory and administrative experience, inclusive of budgeting and program development.
- Two years or more working with senior adults.
- Valid unrestricted California nursing license and certification in gerontology nursing preferred.
