Overview
The IT Project Specialist ensures reliable technology operations by deploying and maintaining hardware, mobile devices, and network systems across multiple locations. This role combines hands-on technical work with project coordination, leading initiatives such as hardware rollouts, system upgrades, and network improvements. Strong troubleshooting skills and clear communication with end users are essential.
Key Responsibilities
· Deploy and support computers, mobile devices, and network systems.
· Manage MDM platform and perform Level 1 & 2 troubleshooting.
· Install and maintain network equipment; assist with connectivity and upgrades.
· Plan and execute IT projects (hardware rollouts, network expansions, system upgrades).
· Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
· Provide end-user support and training; deliver excellent customer service.
· Travel to job sites for setup and troubleshooting.
· Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and service support.
· Monitor network performance and assist with issue resolution.
· Document configurations and create SOPs for future reference.
Qualifications
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 5 years of hands-on IT experience; field experience preferred.
· Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Additionally
Acts as project lead and liaison between IT and business units. May serve as alternate for IT Manager.
