Elcor, conveniently located on the outskirts of Horseheads, NY – halfway between Elmira and Corning – is a 305-bed Nursing and Rehabilitation Center that has been providing family care choices for over 60 years! We offer Short-Term Rehabilitation, Long-Term Nursing Care and Medical Model Adult Day Care with a goal to provide all residents, clients and families with the best quality health care and support services.

Requirements for an RN Registered Nurse:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
• Current and valid RN License in New York State
• Current CPR certification
• Basic computer knowledge
  
  
  

Responsibilities for an RN Registered Nurse:

• Assists in planning and implementing nursing care of residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Ensures the continuity of care by providing direct care as well as supervising the direct care given by C.N.A's and supportive staff members.
• Participates in resident and family education.
• Maintains role of resident advocate with a focus on the mission of Aaron Manor.
• Documentation
• RN assessments
• Nursing skills including but not limited to accident incident reports, PICC lines, infusions, IV monitoring, Nephrostomey flushes, and other duties as assigned.
