Elcor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a motivated, organized, and driven
Assistant Administrator to join our leadership team in a fast-paced 305-bed skilled
nursing and rehabilitation facility. This position is ideal for an individual looking to grow
their healthcare leadership experience while playing a key operational role within the
organization.
This is a hands-on leadership support position that combines administrative operations,
quality assurance/compliance oversight, project coordination, and department follow-up
responsibilities. The Assistant Administrator will work closely with the Administrator and
interdisciplinary leadership team to support daily facility operations, regulatory
readiness, and organizational initiatives.
This position serves as an excellent opportunity to obtain licensure as a Nursing Home
Administrator.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist the Administrator with daily operations and leadership oversight
Follow up with department heads to ensure completion of assigned tasks, audits,
corrective actions, and operational initiatives
Assist with quality assurance and corporate compliance activities, including:
documentation
Assist with survey preparedness and ongoing regulatory readiness
Coordinate and track action items from leadership meetings
Support onboarding/orientation processes and administrative workflows as
needed
Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of required reports and
documentation
Help facilitate communication between departments to improve accountability
and operational efficiency
Participate in facility committees, meetings, and special projects
Provide leadership support during emergencies, surveys, and operational
challenges
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred; healthcare administration or related field strongly
Preferred
Prior healthcare, long-term care, or leadership experience preferred
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Excellent communication and follow-up skills
Strong attention to detail and professionalism
Experience With Microsoft Office Programs Required
Experience in long-term care/skilled nursing preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive situations
