Elco Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a Welding Fabricator in a commercial/manufacturing setting. Candidates must meet the job requirements and fully complete the application to be considered for the position.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Willingness to work as a functional and reliable part of our team
· Must be punctual
· Must be self-motivated
· Ability to maintain positive attitude
· Willingness to work overtime as required per production schedules
Education and Experience:
· Stick welding experience a plus
· Ability to pass required entry-level welding test
· Ability to read and understand a tape measure
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Demonstrate good math skills
Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds as well as stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat and walk on a regular basis.
· Must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
· Must wear gloves, eyes & ear protection and adhere to safety procedures at all times.
· Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Environment:
· Our work schedule is as follows:
9 hour shift Monday - Thursday
4 hour shift Friday
· Employee is subject to temperatures in excess of 90 degrees F in the summer months
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
