Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of young children. This position involves collaborating with teachers and administrators to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of engaging lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and addressing any behavioral challenges effectively.
- Collaborate with teachers in curriculum development to ensure alignment with educational standards and best practices.
- Provide individualized support to students to enhance their learning experience.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.
- Monitor student progress and assist in assessing their educational needs.
Qualifications include one of the following:
- A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
- A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate, including 600 or more hours of secondary training described in § 3270.31(c) (relating to age and training).
- A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate, 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
- A high school diploma or a general education development certificate and completion of a post-secondary training curriculum described in § 3270.31(c).
- A high school diploma or a general educational development certificate and 2 years experience with children
