Job Summary
Support the Quality Management System and Quality Assurance Operations by fulfilling Quality Management System duties as assigned. Assure Quality System policies, standards, instructions, and procedures are completed with Good Documentation Practices and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities And Tasks
- Support document lifecycle management through the quality system
- Support QMS effective implementation across the organization through personnel training, completing scheduled internal audit requirements and providing results and updates to management Support the QMS management reviews with status of the Quality management system in accordance with requirements
- With document owners ensure periodic document reviews are completed timely
- Support Quality department by assisting with document change orders and document reviews and approvals
- Support the Updating or creation of documents to include process flow diagrams, roles and responsibilities tables, and appendices
- Support the Creation and management of job aids or work instructions as applicable
- Document QMS records as applicable such as RMAs, CAPAs, Complaints, DCOs, Quality System Documents, Training and Change Control items
- Support as one of the point of contacts any internal, customer, third party audits of the QMS including AS9100 / AS9110 / FAA-145 / EMAR-145 and other compliance requirements
- Support the NPI process for the facility for both repair and manufacturing processes as well as support inspection processes as needed
- Site AS9100/AS9110 SME. Support other duties as assigned
- Entry level position in the Aerospace / Defense Contractor Quality System/ Quality Assurance function
- High Shoot diploma or equivalent required
- Associates degree in Liberal Arts, Business preferred
- BS degree in a technical major a plus
- Does not require prior experience in Aerospace / Defense contractor processes, but candidates must desire the willingness to learn and understand regulatory requirements and become certified lead auditor in AS9100/AS9110
- Good work ethic, able to follow multipart instructions and break down larger objectives into manageable tasks to deliver on commitments
- Ability to think out of the box, work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and good communication skills required.
- Good computer skills especially word, pdf writer, excel, and power point
- Most locations offer a 9/80 schedule, providing every other Friday off
