Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patients' communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' speech, language, and cognitive-communication needs
- Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to patients, including articulation, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing therapy
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans
- Participate in patient care conferences and family education sessions
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in speech language pathology
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist with the state of Alabama
- Minimum of ONE year of experience in a clinical setting
