JOB SUMMARY: The Area General Manager is a passionate supporter and leader of our Elase Clinics. This person is integral to the success of our spa locations in Texas and is accountable for driving our business to consistent KPI targets, sales growth and positive EBITDA results. This position has an elevated level of business acumen, leadership abilities, and a strong background in sales and operations. This person is a seasoned leader with multi-unit management experience, specifically leading leaders, and service providers. This position reports to our Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; High School diploma required.
  • 4 years of relevant experience; experience in hospitality, retail or the spa industry preferred.
  • 2 years of experience managing high performing teams.
  • Demonstrated achievement in managing a P&L, exceeding sales and KPI targets.
  • Experience working with multi-units in the beauty and wellness space preferred.
  • Experience managing employees with elevated medical credentials (nurses, opticians, medical assistants, etc.) preferred.
  • Fluent in computer and phone skills; technical knowledge of various software and applications (MS Office Suite, HubSpot, etc.) required.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

LEADERSHIP:

  • Lead a team of 5-10 direct reports who manage 100 employees across 5 locations with diverse backgrounds of sales and medical expertise.
  • Train and develop your team to operate with the highest standards of operations and client service.
  • Partner with human resources to elevate and hold team accountable.
  • Develop the team by hosting regular team meetings and effective 1:1 touch bases and continued training.
  • Create individual development plans for General Managers to drive Elase’s expectations for leadership.
  • Provide feedback, coaching and mentoring to all team members to drive client experience and achieve sales expectations.
  • Identify high-potential team members and create an internal pipeline for advancement.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing and diverse team.

SALES AND OPERATIONS:

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales goals in each designated location and the area at large.
  • Identify KPIs and partner in engineering tactics to achieve those targets and drive results
  • Consistently coach team on maximizing operational excellence and sales initiatives
  • Drive sales initiatives to achieve and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance of each location.
  • Manage the P&L for the region and focus on optimizing EBITDA through cost control, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular financial reviews and provide actionable insights to improve profitability.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple clinic locations, ensuring each site meets company standards for quality, service, and profitability.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify key areas of opportunities and coach general managers and client coordinators accordingly.
  • Work cross-functionally with key partners to drive business in each location.
  • Visit all locations regularly to build rapport and observe key behaviors.
  • Champion Elase’s core values and build and maintain relationships with clients, staff and the community.
  • Provide feedback, coaching and mentoring to all team members to drive client experience and achieve sales expectations.
  • Devise strategic business plans by analyzing sales results with the goal of meeting and exceeding our goals.
  • Determine area sales needs and proactively maintain a strong bench of sales talent.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Ensure all locations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  • This is a hybrid position with a blend of on-site and work from home and must be located in the Dallas or Houston metro area.
  • Full time- Salary exempt, minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Travel requirements: travel is required to spa locations in designated area at least 3 days a week. Some national travel will be required but will be less than 10% of the year.
  • Salary range of $100,000-$120,000 and bonus incentives.

We share the full salary range in the interest of transparency; however, typical starting offers are not at the maximum. Final pay depends on experience and job-related qualifications.
