What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Experience Coordinator (Part-Time) position at Elara Escapes?
Must be based in the Phoenix area - Office is in Scottsdale
Schedule: Thursday through Sunday, approximately 5 hours a day (mornings). This is a fixed weekly schedule, and these are our key hours, when you're the first person our guests reach while our Australia-based team is asleep.

Elara Escapes is a growing collection of short-term rentals built around one idea: an elevated escape that still feels like home. You'll be part of a small, family-run hospitality brand expanding into the US, and our guests are often families, so the details matter to us.
The role
You'll be the calm, friendly voice behind our guest experience. You'll split your time between our Scottsdale office and working from home. In the office you'll answer phones and keep things running. Remotely, you'll be first on the scene when guest messages come in while we're offline. Thursday-Sunday mornings are your core hours, and your schedule stays consistent week to week.
What you'll do
- Respond to guest messages quickly and warmly, including complaints and tricky moments
- Answer phones and support day-to-day operations from our Scottsdale office
- Coordinate cleaners and keep turnovers running smoothly
- Update listings on Airbnb and other booking platforms
- Handle general admin and keep our systems organised

- Learn quickly and figure things out yourself. You'll have SOPs and training, and we'd love you to check them first, then ask.
- Are organized, reliable and good at following through
- Can reliably commit to Thursday-Sunday mornings, every week
- Have Airbnb and Guesty experience (a bonus, not a requirement)
