Senior Electrical Engineer

Elara Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support the growth of any of our multi-disciplinary engineering design studios which includes Commercial & Multifamily, Higher Education, K-12 & Municipal, and Life Sciences & Healthcare. The selected individual should have direct experience performing conceptual design, preparing engineering construction documentation with production support from others, and overseeing implementation for a wide variety of projects.

• Ability to develop an electrical design from concept to construction with minimal oversight.
• Experience with new construction, renovation, and retrofit projects.
• Experience with power, lighting and lighting control, and fire alarm design.
• Desire to learn and apply sustainable design strategies.
• Organized and collaborative with high attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of applicable building and energy codes and standards
• Experience both developing engineering documentation utilizing Revit and preparing markups to be completed by others.
