Digital Press Operator (HP)-Weekend Shift

This position is primarily responsible for work performed on the Digital Presses. Job functions include producing color printed material. Additional functions include troubleshooting, servicing and maintaining the presses and cost effective use of consumables. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing the work to job specifications as well as in accordance with our safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and process reliability expectations.

• Prioritizes daily work load.
• Understands all systems and manufacturing capabilities and processes and looks for opportunities to streamline workflow.
• Inspects printed material in accordance with the work instructions to ensure quality and consistency.
• Makes all appropriate updates to systems and logs.
• Utilizes Printstream to log time print time for each job.
• Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on the press.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems on the press.
• Reviews job specifications in their entirety prior to starting the job and follows the instructions accurately.
• Advises supervisor of job specifications in question.
• Reports all production related problems to supervisor.
• Meets all defined departmental standards for quality, productivity, efficiency and waste.
• Keeps work area neat, clean and well organized.
• Maintains confidentiality regarding employee, company and customer information.
• Responsible for the successful completion of assigned tasks and projects.
• Complies with all safety and health policies, procedures and practices; actively supports safety improvement initiatives; uses materials and equipment in an appropriate and safe manner; carries out all tasks in a manner so as to not create a hazard to oneself or others.
