Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Paralegal with 1 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will assist attorneys in handling family law matters such as divorce, child custody, support, and property division. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, and a passion for helping families navigate complex legal challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting legal documents such as petitions, motions, discovery requests, agreements, and pleadings.
- Conduct legal research on family law matters and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring that all documents and correspondence are properly filed and updated.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties to gather information and provide updates.
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and court dates, and manage attorney calendars.
- Assist in the preparation for court appearances, mediations, and depositions by organizing exhibits, preparing trial notebooks, and managing evidence.
- Handle client intake and gather initial information related to their case.
- Ensure compliance with court deadlines and filing requirements.
- Coordinate with external experts, such as financial analysts, custody evaluators, and mediators, as needed.
- Monitor case progression and manage the discovery process, including organizing interrogatories, requests for documents, and responses.

Benefits :
Compensation : $60-$70k base salary opportunity for bonuses
Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
