Finance Manager (Home-based)

The Director of Finance is responsible for the general accounting and reporting, accounts payable and business office functions. include assisting with annual budgeting, financial and business analysis. Responsible for validating the accuracy of general ledger and financial records Records, classify, and summarize financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. Develops financial reports for financial analysis, forecasting, trending, and results analysis. Oversees the accounts payable function and ensures that vendor payments Coordinates year-end activities including Medicare and Medicaid audits and the annual financial audit. Supplying information for audit requests. Prepares investment account analysis schedules and postings to general ledger. Oversees the business office functions and staff to ensure that timely and correct Medicare Part A, Part B, Medicaid and Private Pay bills are processed. Maintains and coordinates banking relationships. resident safety. Bachelors degree in accounting with related healthcare accounting and finance experience. accounting principles. Minimum of three to five years accounting and finance experience with general ledger close through financial statement preparation. care or hospital accounting and finance experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft office applications - specifically Excel and Word, and other key business financial or business management systems.
