Requirements:
- 3 years of experience designing embedded hardware or digital electronic systems.
- Strong understanding of digital electronics, processors, circuit boards, and embedded computing platforms.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment and hardware validation techniques.
- Ability to interpret electronic schematics, logic diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Understanding of high-speed digital design principles and signal integrity.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and work independently.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using Altium Designer or similar PCB design software.
- Experience designing products for regulated or compliance-driven industries.
- Familiarity with EMC/EMI, FCC, CE, or other applicable design standards.
- Experience with signal integrity, power integrity, simulation, or hardware modeling.
- Analog circuit design experience.
- Power supply design and power management experience.
- Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) experience.
- Experience working with multiple processor architectures such as x86-64, ARM, or RISC-V.
- Experience supporting products from prototype through full-scale production.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and validate digital embedded hardware systems and circuit board assemblies.
- Participate in product research and development activities, including architecture, component selection, and hardware design.
- Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and supporting engineering documentation using industry-standard CAD tools.
- Partner with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain functional specifications, manufacturing documentation, and engineering change documentation.
- Develop production test procedures, fixtures, and validation processes to support manufacturing and quality objectives.
- Troubleshoot hardware designs and perform design verification, functional testing, and root cause analysis.
- Support product improvements, manufacturing activities, and ongoing engineering initiatives.
