Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Transactional Attorney with 5–7 years of law firm experience to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil transaction work including contract drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of commercial and corporate transactions while providing practical legal guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities/Qualifications
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of transactional documents related to real estate transactions, easement, government and municipal law, land use and entitlement work, mergers and acquisitions.
- Advise clients on business transactions, risk management, compliance matters, and contract strategy.
- Manage transactions from initial structuring through closing and post-closing activities.
- Collaborate closely with clients, attorneys, and cross-functional business teams to ensure efficient execution of legal matters.
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical recommendations on transactional and corporate law issues.
- Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Mentor junior attorneys and support staff as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Idaho State Bar.
- 5–7 years of transactional experience within a law firm environment.
- Strong experience handling commercial contracts and corporate transactions.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and sound business judgment.
- Experience working directly with clients and managing complex matters independently.
- Ability to independently manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with real estate transactions, land use, real property, financing, or corporate governance matters.
