Elam & Burke, P.A. is currently seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to join our dynamic and fast-paced civil litigation and /or transactional team.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years' experience in civil litigation and/or transactional.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProfessionally manage client communications and maintain confidentiality.Maintain and coordinate attorney calendars, including court dates and filing deadlines.Draft, format, and proofread legal documents with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Handle electronic and physical file management.Provide cross-functional support to other practice areas as needed.Required SkillsExcellent organization and time management.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Meticulous proofreading and document production abilities.Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team.Professional demeanor and a strong focus on client service.Additional RequirementsProficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, transcription, and electronic filing.Familiarity with legal case management software, e-discovery tools.We're looking for someone who is organized, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a proactive mindset and a positive attitude.
