What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at El Toro?
Duties:
- Assist in setting up tables and dining areas before service begins
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished their meals
- Reset tables for the next guests, ensuring they are clean and properly set with utensils, napkins, and condiments
- Remove dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware from tables and transport them to the kitchen for cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing high-touch areas
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from supervisors
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or bus tubs as needed
