Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Moderate–Severe Special Education Teacher to support students with significant disabilities. This role focuses on individualized instruction, life skills development, and inclusion in a collaborative, student-centered environment. Key Responsibilities - Provide individualized and small-group instruction aligned to IEP goals - Teach functional academics, communication, social-emotional, and daily living skills - Develop and implement IEPs; monitor progress and maintain compliance - Use evidence-based strategies (ABA, visual supports, structured teaching) - Implement behavior supports and BIPs - Collaborate with staff, service providers, and families - Supervise instructional aides - Maintain a safe, structured classroom Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree; CA Education Specialist Credential (Moderate/Severe or ESN) Preferred: Bilingual (Spanish/English), AAC experience, behavior training Why Join El Sol Academy?
