Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktail and beverage service, while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Process sales transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments with accuracy and integrity
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including food handling and beverage stations
- Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while enhancingguest satisfaction
