Job Summary
Elementary teachers are responsible for creating a classroom environment that helps each student develop an awareness and appreciation of the role of education, and that motivates each student to acquire knowledge of facts and principles as they relate to all curricular areas and in compliance with the California State Standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
In addition to holding a valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, applicants must meet ONE of the following requirements:
1. At least 24 units in early childhood education, or childhood development, or both;
2. Professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool age children that is comparable to the 24 units of education;
3. A child development teacher permit issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

Resume
3 Letters of Recommendation dated within 12 months. One must be from a current supervisor.
Copy of appropriate California teaching credential(s)
Copy of CLAD certification or equivalent
