We are seeking 1 (one) dedicated and enthusiastic Restaurant Host to join our dynamic team at Hotel El Roblar. As a Host, you will play a crucial role in facilitating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Preference will go to candidates who have open availability.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
- Greet and seat customers promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Utilize Resy to manage reservations efficiently, optimize seating arrangements, and maximize table turnover.
- Answer phone calls, assist with guest inquiries, and provide information about the restaurant’s offerings and policies.
- Confidently enforce venue policies while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth communication and service flow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front-of-house environment.
- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant environment required.
- Proficiency in Resy or similar reservation management platforms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Professional demeanor with the confidence to enforce policies and handle sensitive situations.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
