Letter of Interest Resume Full Transcripts showing BA degree(s) awarded 2 letters of recommendation (signed and dated within one year) Copy of Teaching credential, Pupil Personnel Services credential or 30 day emergency teaching permit** Please note: Senate Bill 1397 temporarily waives the Basic Skills Requirement for the initial issuance of an Emergency 30-day Substitute Teaching Permit from January 1, 2023, through July 1, 2024. After July 1, 2024, in order to qualify for a 30 day emergency teaching permit through the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC), you will need to have met the Basic Skills Requirement by one of the following: CBEST, CSET (Multiple Subject), CSU Placement Exam, SAT or ACT, College Board Advanced Placement Exam, Basic Skills Exam from another State or Basic Skills Requirement by Coursework. For information on the Basic Skills Requirement, visit https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/basic-skills-requirement-(cl-667).
