M-F Day shift
El Portal Imaging Center is actively pursuing a Per Diem that may turn into part time or Full Time X-Ray/CT Technologist
Starting Pay: Negotiable
Paid Holidays off
Location with Position Opening: Merced California, Diagnostic Outpatient Facility
We are looking for an X-Ray Technologist to fill in where needed in one of our 3 facilities and open to cross train into CT.
Must have working knowledge of conventional Radiology. Diagnostic Imaging technologist is responsible for radiological care to patients of all ages, for the purpose of diagnosis and/or anatomical & physiological disorders using ionizing radiation. Must have working knowledge of conventional radiology and be able to operate all X-ray equipment and PACS. Also, Technologist should be able to work independently exercising good judgement and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures to deliver accurate results.
Education:
Graduate from Accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding patient care in an efficient and compassionate manner to enhance the patient’s overall experience and meet the organization’s business goals
- Proactively monitoring daily/weekly schedules, assure appropriate protocols are performed, and
- Maintaining inventory control and communicating any facility and/or equipment issues.
Required Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Required skills: Ability to perform a wide variety of general diagnostic exams.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of patient-focused care delivery
Certification/Registration:
- CRT Mandatory (Upon Hire)
- ARRT Mandatory (Upon Hire)
