Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events or special functions as needed.
- Stay updated on current drink trends and menu offerings to enhance customer experience.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with fine dining service standards is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently serve multiple customers during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques or catering experience is advantageous.
