Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and food safety protocols
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards to support overall restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for order processing and sales tracking
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations within the food industry
- Experience in serving or host/hostess roles that demonstrate excellent guest relations skills
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy are required
