JOB FAMILY SUMMARY PURPOSE:
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Manager of Planning & Project Management, will work with the Substation, Transmission and P&C engineering and field departments applying best project management practices to successfully execute projects. Also, special tasks to support the planning and project management groups will be assigned as needed.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, with an emphasis in engineering construction, project management, or related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- 0-5 years or more experience required.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1. Demonstrates basic knowledge of project management practices and concepts.
2. Demonstrates basic knowledge in creating or interpreting project estimates and budgets.
3. Demonstrates basic knowledge in creating or interpreting project scope documentation.
4. Demonstrates basic knowledge in creating or interpreting project schedules.
5. Demonstrates basic knowledge of PC hardware and Microsoft applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Teams.
6. Demonstrates basic knowledge of MS Project or any other software tool used to create schedules and track tasks.
7. Demonstrates basic knowledge of power systems within the context of electric utilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Accountable for the creation of all high-level requirement(s) and work plan(s) needed to perform work by TSR, including creating all scope documentation (e.g. Scope Zero, Scope One, etc.).
2. Responsible for using high-level documentation and digital database(s) for creating requirements as applicable.
3. Responsible for gathering all requirements information from project stakeholders as applicable for creating scope documentation.
4. Responsible for creating requirements when information is not available or cannot be provided by project stakeholders within TSR.
5. Accountable and responsible for developing and maintaining (keeping up-to date) scope documentation and digital database(s) as applicable for creating work plans and high-level requirements.
6. Accountable and responsible for verifying all high-level requirement(s) and work plan(s) been properly distributed to all project stakeholders within TSR (including all TSR high-level requirement(s) and work plan(s) needed for the creation of candidate projects, scope 0 documentation, and/or Scope One documentation as required).
7. Accountable for the creation of all high-level project schedules and assign buckets of work for to all of TSR resources.
8. Responsible for creating all high-level schedules for all candidate projects when information is not available or cannot be provided by project stakeholders.
9. Accountable and responsible for developing and maintaining (keeping up-to date) documentation and digital database(s), as applicable, with the availability and usage of TSR resources, equipment, and materials, needed to execute projects (applicable to TSR Design and Implementation/field).
10. Accountable and responsible to provide guidance, direction (when necessary), and verification on resources, equipment, and materials so that they are properly allocated by all "stakeholders" within TSR for every project.
11. Accountable for the creation of all high-level TSR cost estimates for TSR resources, equipment, and materials.
12. Responsible for using high-level documentation and digital database(s) for creating estimates as applicable.
13. Responsible to gather all required estimate(s) information from project stakeholders as applicable.
