The Education Specialist, under the direction of the Director of Professional and Organizational Development, implements professional development activities that promote the provision of quality and safe patient care. The Education Specialist will assist in the assessment, development and provision of evidence-based, quality educational programs and activities that promote professional competency and accountability for nursing, inter-professional, non-licensed clinical staff, and community partners.
The Educational Specialist is a grant funded position effective through May 2027.
Qualifications:Work Experience

2 years higher education or related experience
License/Registration/Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Education and Training

Completion of Healthcare related certification or Associate or Bachelor’s Degree
