Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to maintain cleanliness and readiness
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest needs promptly
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and process payments efficiently
- Engage with guests to foster positive relations, address inquiries, and resolve any concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings; fine dining
- Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with guest services, cashiering, or host/host roles is advantageous
- Basic math skills for order accuracy and cash handling purposes
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, food preparation, and hospitality
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and foster guest relations
