Description
Position Purpose: The Wine-Bar Server is responsible for supporting the Food & Beverage Operations in making sure that bar operations run smoothly by supporting a culture of service within the team for the Crafted bar guests.
Essential Duties and Functions/Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Works directly under the Food and Beverage Director/Bar Manager or Bar Supervisor/Lead.
- Maintain a high level of positive and professional approach with employees, coworkers, and guests primarily on patio and cocktail tables.
- Maintain strong focus on the guest experience and base all of your decision making around making our guests happy, especially when resolving complaints.
- Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situations.
- Uphold company food safety, food handling, cleanliness, and sanitation requirements to ensure the health and safety of our guests and staff.
- Ensure the profitability of the food and beverage department increases while maintaining a high level of service.
- Passionately deliver refined, seamless service.
- Assist the bartenders with ice, polishing, or running food to all patrons.
- Answer menu questions, and offer recommendations to guests to create a memorable dining experience.
- Check identification to ensure minimum age requirements are met for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Willingness to cross train in restaurant, bar, and banquet departments when needed.
- Ensure that all areas of banquets, bar, and restaurant are organized and clean at all times.
- Any additional duties that are delegated by the Food and Beverage Director/Bar Manager or Bar Supervisor/Lead.

Requirements
- Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer preferred.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights.
- Ability to work on your feet in and around the bar for eight hours or more.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
- 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume bar and/or fine dining experience preferred.
- Valid New Mexico Food Handler Certification, and Alcohol Server Certification required.
- Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30 pounds frequently.
- Optimistic personality to ensure the high level of culture and comfortable experiences.
