Responsibilities
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process sales transactions accurately and quickly
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience
- Assist customers with product inquiries
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and assist with merchandising and stocking tasks
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cash handling duties with accuracy
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Supervise or assist in supervising team members when applicable, ensuring smooth store operations
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering procedures
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Experience in retail sales, including upselling and product demos
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and inventory management techniques
- Bilingual language skills required - Espanol
- Supervising experience is a plus for leadership roles within the team
