Duties
- Supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff management
- Oversee inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Lead staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food handling, customer service, and safety protocols
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations across the kitchen and dining areas
- Coordinate shift management, including scheduling, staffing levels, and performance monitoring
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to support restaurant profitability
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food industry management with a strong background in restaurant or hospitality management
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management and staff training & development
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and health regulations
- Experience in managing inventory control, food production, catering, or banquet services is highly desirable
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams in a quick service & fast food or casual dining environment
- Background in managing budgets, controlling costs, and implementing operational improvements
- Hospitality management experience within hotel or bar settings is a plus; barista or coffee experience is beneficial
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and conduct staff evaluations
