Wine & Spirits Captain (Beverage Manager)

Full-Time · $85,000 annually (DOE)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead nightly wine and spirits service across multiple sections of the dining room
• Manage beverage program operations — inventory, administration, and floor execution
• Educate and elevate the service team through ongoing training and coaching
• Anticipate guest needs and deliver personalized, high-touch dining experiences
• Execute tableside preparations with precision and showmanship
• Uphold fine dining standards: coursed service, etiquette, and seamless team coordination
• Stay composed under pressure and guide team performance in real time
• Execute administrative duties related to wine and spirits program operations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in upscale or fine dining hospitality
• Wine & spirits certification or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to mentor and motivate a team
• Guest-first mentality with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Cool under pressure with clear, confident communication skills
• Commitment to upholding El Gaucho Seattle’s standards and vision

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $85,000 annually (DOE) plus growth potential **A background check will be conducted prior to extending an offer.
