Under the supervision of the Band Director, the VAPA Assistant (Percussion Coach) will provide technical assistance for district band and percussion classes, as well as support for special events. This role is essential in enhancing students' musical skills, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting teamwork within the percussion section.
Requirements / Qualifications
• BA/BS in Music preferred; equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered. • Minimum of two years of experience providing music assistance is preferred. • Experience working with High School students preferred. • Formal training in percussion techniques and pedagogy is required. • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
El Camino Real Charter High School is in need of one (1) VAPA Assistant- Percussion Coach The following are required for this position prior to the offer of employment: -Fingerprint Clearance -TB Clearance A complete application file consists of: -Cover Letter - Online application through EdJoin -Current Resume -Three letters of reference
