What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at El Camino Real Academy?
This position can be flexible according to the days you are available. Full time or part time available.
A substitute teaching license is required. If you need to apply for a license, we can guide you on how to obtain one.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans and instructions of the classroom teacher.
- Monitor students to assure students are following the education process.
- Provide a secure, safe environment for students.
- Maintain effective classroom management.
- Implement successful strategies for teaching effective lessons.
- Provide summary of classroom activities for classroom teacher/associate and/or secretary.
- Comply with ECRA Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics policies and all other policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality with sensitive matters.
- Be flexible and able to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Work independently with very little supervision.
- May be required to perform other functions/duties as assigned by the school site supervisor.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
