Job Description
To provide emotional support to the work force of El Camino Health including, but not limited to, nursing staff and frontline leaders.
Key Responsibilities
The goal of this service is to promote wellness, limit vicarious trauma and build resiliency of the workforce through connection, coordination, and navigation of individual supportive service and group activities.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree required; PhD preferred in psychology or related field
- Minimum three years of clinical experience working both individually and in groups
- Experience in working in hospital-aligned programs with multidisciplinary staff
- Collaborative engagement and partnerships with community organizations
- Knowledge and participation in healthcare quality metrics (collection/application)
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Open, nonjudgmental style and approach to engagement
- Ability to work independently and initiate opportunities to improve processes
- Ability to communicate effectively in large public settings
License/Certification/Registration Requirements
- Clinical license at any level is preferred (i.e. LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, PhD/PsyD), with extensive clinical experience in individual and group work
Ages of Patients Served- This position will serve all adult employees of El Camino Workforce
Salary Range:
$67.48 - $101.22 USD Hourly
