El Bolillo Bakery, a popular Mexican bakery in Houston, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cookie Decorator to join our team. As a Cookie Decorator, you will be responsible for decorating cookies according to our established brand standards. You will also assist our baking staff with the production of standard bakery items and produce different kinds of icing, frosting, and fillings based on cookie type and customer orders.
Responsibilities:
- Decorate cookies according to established brand standards
- Assist baking staff with the production of standard bakery items
- Produce different kinds of icing, frosting, and fillings based on cookie type and customer orders
- Clean and sanitize all work areas, ovens, and baking and decorating equipment
Requirements:
- Passion for baking and decorating
- Attention to detail and creativity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Food handler's certification

El Bolillo Bakery started out as a small Mexican bakery in the Greater Heights area of Houston. Over time the bakery became popular due to its hundreds of everyday fresh pastries and great customer service. Soon, business out grew the small building the bakery started in and construction started for a bigger bakery across the street. Following the momentum of growing popularity, another location was opened in the South side of Houston off of S. Wayside. It has become part of the Houston East End Chamber of Commerce and has remained active within the Community surrounding it.
