Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to elevate guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change using basic math skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service during busy hours or events like banquets and catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender or in food service within the hospitality industry, preferably with fine dining or upscale venues.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage recipes, wine varieties, spirits, and craft beer.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks seamlessly.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and basic math for cash handling.
- Previous experience in bar management or hospitality industry roles is a plus; banquet or catering experience is beneficial.
