Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
- Care for floors through proper sweeping, mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning techniques to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning products to ensure availability for guests and staff.
- Follow safety procedures during cleaning tasks and handle cleaning equipment responsibly to prevent accidents or damage.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure quick resolution and maintain safety standards.
- Adhere to all health regulations and company policies related to sanitation, safety, and guest privacy.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial practices enhances performance.
- Experience in hospitality environments demonstrates an understanding of guest service expectations and professionalism.
